All Student Experience Related Communications- Steps

If you have an announcement, you would like sent to all students, please use the following process:

  1. Draft the announcement,  **Communications is always available to help you in crafting and drafting announcements, you can continue to send those requests to
    communications@flemingcollege.ca
  2. Send draft to your manager to vet and review
  3. Manager sends vetted announcement to Communication Officer for college review and approval
  4. Manager forwards communications approved announcement to Sandra, cc’ing Cindy.
  5. Your message is ready to send. Your communication will be sent on Tuesday or Friday unless it is urgent. Please allow 3 business days for approval.

Please ensure you remember the following:

  • Subject Line
  • contact name & email for student questions
  • Arial 12pt font
  • try to avoid the use of bold, underlines, italics whenever possible

Be mindful of your subject/event and consider social media as an option.
