Move Your Adobe Content from Your Fleming Account to a Personal Account

Objective

“Asset migration for graduating students” is a process that moves the data from your school Adobe account to a personal Adobe account, allowing you to continue accessing your Adobe files after graduating, or for any other reason your school licence expires.

1 — Prepare

  • Remove unnecessary files from this account, keeping no more than 2GB of data, which is the storage quota of a personal account. All data will be moved during the migration process regardless of the data amount. However, adding new data to the personal account would first require reducing the data to less than 2GB.
  • Have a personal email account ready for the migration process. This address cannot be associated with another Adobe account.

2 — Begin Process

  • Start this process only when you are certain you no longer require this data on your school Adobe account. Remember, this is a moving, not copying, of data, and this process cannot be reversed.
  • Go to the “Student Asset Migration” portal to begin the migration process: https://graduation.adobe.com/
  • Follow the steps from the portal, and if further instructions are needed, detailed instructions are provided by Adobe: https://helpx.adobe.com/ca/enterprise/using/migrate-student-assets.html.

3 — Verify Results

  • After completing the process, log in to your new personal Adobe account and review the content.
  • Verify that all needed data is now in your personal Adobe account. All data migrates automatically, with the following exceptions: Lightroom photos and videos published from mobile apps. Copy any of these files manually.
  • Contact the Fleming College ITS Service Desk for further assistance, if needed.
