Breakout Rooms with Webex Training
From Elane Kalavrias (Teaching & Learning session facilitator): Here is a 30-minute session that highlights how to use breakout spaces in Webex training (NOTE: This video is not from Fleming’s session)

A few things that need to be noted:

  1. In a breakout space, there is no video for the participants or recording.
  2. If you are practicing screen sharing and sharing the “screen session” to show someone how to do a breakout, you have to stop the share in order to start the breakout session.
  3. Training Centre isn’t videocentric like a Webex meeting, so if faculty are teaching in that application, they aren’t looking at their students in the same fashion they are in a Webex meeting.
