Membership Tracking, Retirement and Recruiting

RECRUITMENT
Program Advisory Committee members are appointed by the school Dean. The school Dean will review potential PAC members to ensure alignment with Fleming’s purpose, mission and strategic plan.  Letters of appointment and relevant information and training materials will be provided to new PAC members.

For continuity and effectiveness of the committee, membership is structured and organized by the school Dean so that not every term of appointment expires at the same time.

RETIREMENT
The term of membership is a minimum of 3 years, once renewable. At the discretion of the school Dean key agencies/industries may have standing representation on the Program Advisory Committee.

On an annual basis, the school Dean, in consultation with the program Coordinator and the Academic Quality Office shall review the membership of each Program Advisory Committee to ensure its engagement, diversity of representation, and effectiveness.
