The Academic Quality Office oversees the tracking and standardization of processes around Program Advisory Committee for all programs at Fleming College. The role of AQ is to provide:
- Orientation Materials: this consists of customizable templates of information relevant to all new PAC members. We also provide information to schools regarding conflict-of-interest regulations.
- Membership Tracking, Retirement and Recruiting: We produce an annual status report of membership tracking. This allows Deans and Chairs to ensure that PACs remain relevant to programs and the community.
- Templates and Meeting Preparation: We have found that meeting templates provide consistency across the college. The customizable template package consists of an agenda, minutes and pre-meet reports. Each academic year the templates are revised as needed.
- Minutes Repository: We track and maintain a repository of PAC meeting minutes for each program or cluster of programs in every school. This allows us to generate reports as needed of recommendations, compliance and activity. The repository is currently stored on the Program Review webpage to ensure ease of access during annual and cyclical program review. Please visit the link to view: Program Review – PAC Minutes
