Fleming College is committed to providing equal access to services, facilities and educational programs for persons with disabilities. If one of your students has a documented medical, physical, psychological or learning disability he/she may be eligible for accommodations that can help him/her to succeed academically. Students require an up-to-date medical diagnosis, not just an Individual Education Plan. For more information see:
If a student possesses an IEP in high school, it may not transfer over into college. The student would need to contact Accessible Education Services (AES) to see if the IEP would transfer and to apply to register the IEP.
Students are to self-advocate in order to access these services. Faculty and secondary school teachers can provide key assistance in this process.
