No, the process of a report, and the outcome are all confidential. Only people involved in the process or the outcome are made aware. The rest of the information is stored in a secure central registry, and are not a part of the academic record.
Managing these records will be the responsibility of the Administrator of the Student Rights and Responsibilities Policy, under the direction of the Vice-President Student Experience. Access to these records will be restricted to appropriate College staff as per the Colleges’ Access to Privacy Policy, or as may be required by law. All records will be kept according to our College Data Record Retention and Disposition Policy (#6-603).
You will need to sign a consent form before this information can be shared with anyone (teachers, parents, etc.), as stated above, unless it is required by law that we share this information. Sometimes information is shared in the absence of a consent form, after verbal consent is provided for the purpose of immediate safety planning or interim measures.
