Fleming College supports menstrual equity. In most of our washrooms you will find both pads and tampons available for free.
Thanks to a generous donation from The Period Purse, reusable menstrual products including cups, pads and panties are now accessible through your student council’s food bank, as well as in Indigenous Student Services lounges.
Through outreach and education, Diversity & Inclusion Services hopes to end period poverty and stigma.
Education & Outreach
We work with The Period Purse to provide students with CCR eligible workshops on various topics such as:
- Menstrual Cycle Basics
- Period Poverty in Canada
- Menstrual Equity
- Reusable Period Products
We proudly support Menstrual Health Day. Look for us on your campus May 28th for free menstrual products and educational resources.
Want to track your cycle?
Our friends at The Period Purse have created a free app that allows you to track your menstrual cycle! The Menstruation Nation Period App allows you to predict when your next period is, but also allows you to log your symptoms, mood, sleep cycle and exercise. There’s even an education section that includes period facts and information on different period products!
