Welcome

Rooted in Indigenous perspectives, Fleming Indigenous Student Services strives to nourish students’ spirits on their learning path by supporting connection to  community, culture, and self.

We provide cultural programming, one-to-one student support, and meaningful  partnerships with Indigenous organizations and local service providers to foster  student success and connect students to community.

CULTURAL SPACES ON CAMPUS

Access support and utilize the Indigenous student service department to study, take a well-deserved break, or visit with friends.  Come by the Tipi, located at the Sutherland Campus and enjoy a visit with a member of the Indigenous Student Services Team.

The College is smudge friendly, and you may smudge in the Indigenous student service departments at any time. If you are smudging elsewhere, please let us know in advance so we may notify
those who could be negatively affected due to allergies.

Indigenous student service departments are located in:

  • Room B2 299 at the Sutherland Campus
  • Room 180A at Frost Campus

Indigenous student support services are also available to students at the Haliburton campus on a monthly basis

Miigwech, Nia:wen, and we look forward to seeing you in the lounge!
