Rooted in Indigenous perspectives, Fleming Aboriginal Student Services strives to nourish students’ spirits on their learning path by supporting connection to community, culture, and self.
We provide cultural programming, one-to-one student support, and meaningful partnerships with Indigenous organizations and local service providers to foster student success and connect students to community.
CULTURAL SPACES ON CAMPUS
Access support and utilize the Aboriginal Student Lounge to study, take a well-deserved break, or visit with friends. Come by the Tipi, located at the Sutherland Campus and enjoy a visit with a member of the Aboriginal Student Services Team or a student firekeeper. Interested in firekeeping? Let us know.
The College is smudge friendly, and you may smudge in the Aboriginal Student Lounge at any time. If you are smudging elsewhere, please let us know in advance so we may notify
those who could be negatively affected due to allergies.
