Rooted in Indigenous perspectives, Fleming Indigenous Student Services strives to nourish students’ spirits on their learning path by supporting connection to community, culture, and self.
We provide cultural programming, one-to-one student support, and meaningful partnerships with Indigenous organizations and local service providers to foster student success and connect students to community.
CULTURAL SPACES ON CAMPUS
Access support and utilize the Indigenous student service department to study, take a well-deserved break, or visit with friends. .
The College is smudge friendly, and you may smudge in the Indigenous student service departments at any time. If you are smudging elsewhere, please let us know in advance so we may notify
those who could be negatively affected due to allergies.

TRADITIONAL ADVISING SUPPORT
There are Elders and/or Indigenous Traditional Knowledge Holders available on a regular basis, to First Nation, Inuit and Métis students seeking support rooted in Indigenous ways of knowing.
