The Fleming ITS Department provides and supports most of the technology services at the College. We work closely with the school’s faculty & academic technologists to provide supporting infrastructure for technology used in academic delivery.

Paul MarchantĀ HBSc CISSP ITIL/F
Vice President, Information Technology & Digital Strategy
Paul Marchant was appointed Vice President of Information Technology and Digital Strategy in July 2024. Paul is responsible for leading the Information Technology Services (ITS) department and advancing the Collegeās digital & technology strategy as part of a new Technology and Digitization Transition Plan.
With a decade of dedicated service to the College, Paul has demonstrated exceptional leadership and expertise in various positions, assuming progressively responsible roles. Before joining Fleming College, Paul worked at Viceroy Homes, Environment Canada and TD Bank. Paul holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in computer science (software engineering specialist) from the University of Toronto and a CISSP certification in cybersecurity.

Manager, IT Service Desk and AV
As Manager of the IT Service Desk, Jason Meddings provides strategic and operational leadership for IT support and Audio Visual services, delivering reliable, user-centered technology experiences across the college community. He brings deep institutional knowledge and a strong focus on supporting teaching, learning, and operations.
Jason aligns service delivery with institutional strategy, including the advancement of HyFlex and technology-enabled learning spaces. By integrating IT support and AV services, he enables consistent, effective experiences across both physical and digital environments. His leadership philosophy emphasizes empowering teams, fostering accountability, and driving continuous improvement. Through strong relationships and clear communication, he ensures his teams deliver service excellence while contributing to innovation and long-term success.

Director, IT Infrastructure
Deena Naidoo is the Director of IT Infrastructure at Fleming College, where he provides strategic leadership and operational oversight of the Collegeās IT infrastructure across all campus locations in Ontario. He oversees a comprehensive technology portfolio that includes network services (core, distribution, edge & access layers), Data Center operations, cloud and on-premises platforms, identity and access management, end-user computing, and communication / telephony services.
Deena plays a key role in driving digital transformation at the College. He works closely with vendors and partners to deliver value, supports business continuity and disaster recovery planning, and ensures infrastructure investments are aligned with long-term institutional goals. He is passionate about building high-performing teams and fostering an inclusive, learning-oriented environment. Deena is committed to advancing technology solutions that enhance the student, faculty and employee experience while supporting the Collegeās mission and future growth.
