How to Install Adobe Creative Cloud on a Personal Device

The College’s enterprise licensing for Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) provides software access in the following scenarios:

  • To any students and staff when using a college asset device.
  • Staff can install and use Adobe CC on any personal/BYOD device.
  • Starting with the Spring 2024 Semester Students actively enrolled, (in the current semester), in any of the academic programs listed below,  can download, install & use Adobe CC on a personal/BYOD device. Each student’s access is time-limited based on the current semester’s course enrolment.
    • VCA – Visual & Creative Arts
    • JWA – Jewelry Essential Certificate
    • GDV – Graphic Design Visual Communications
    • ACM – Museum Mgt and Curatorship
    • CHM – Conservation and heritage management
    • ABS – Artist Blacksmith
    • FAR – Fibre Arts
    • CER – Ceramic
    • VAF – Drawing & Painting
    • GBL – Glass blowing
    • GSA – GIS for Analytics
    • GC – GIS Cartographic Specialist
    • GIA – GIS Applications Specialist
    • GAO – GIS Applications Specialist

Download & Installation Instructions

  1. Visit https://account.adobe.com/
  2. Enter your email address and click Continue
  3. Click Company or School Account
  4. Enter username and password, then click Sign-in.
  5. Click Access your apps and services.
  6. Download and install the Creative Cloud application first.  Then proceed to add specific desktop applications as needed.

Potential Install Issues

If the installer for Creative Cloud fails, particularly with the “206 error” below, then try using the Creative Cloud Full/Alternate installer instead.
