Fleming College is responsible for protecting a substantial amount of personal information (PI) records about students and staff, as well as other sensitive information in the college’s possession. The Vice President of IT & Digital Strategy oversees the college’s efforts to safeguard electronic information assets to comply with applicable laws, regulations and policies.
Protecting the college information, systems and infrastructure is a responsibility shared by all college community members. All users are expected to follow relevant policies, operating procedures, and ITS standards. Cybersecurity awareness and training is one of the ways we try to foster an informed and vigilant user base as the best defence against malicious cyber threats.
