This is a step by step guide on how to use a combination lock.
- Turn the dial on the lock clockwise (to the right) three full rotations. This clears the lock and resets it so that it’s ready to open.
- The marker or line should be at the top of the dial, pointing to the twelve o’clock position. Stop turning the dial when the marker points to the first number of your combination
- Turn the dial counterclockwise (to the left) one full turn past the first number of the combination, stopping at the second combination number.
- Turn the dial clockwise (to the right) again directly to the last number of your combination.
- Open the lock (Pull down the lock). If it does not open, repeat the process from the beginning.
