Academic Pride & Advocacy

Coordinators work with students and their faculty teams to instill pride in their program or discipline/subject area.  Having a shared vision, mission, values, and teaching philosophy that is visible and valued is one way to create an identity that provides a direction for students, other areas of Fleming College, stakeholders and the broader community.

In addition, understanding of Fleming College’s  Strategic Plan 2019-2024 and Academic Plan 2019-2024  as well as data collected and analyzed from enrollment numbers, competitor statistics, Key Performance Indicators, etc. is helpful for obtaining information related to your program and discipline/subject area as well as how Fleming College makes decisions.  Such data can also be used to evaluate strengths and areas requiring change required for Program Review documents and in turn for improvement planning related to curriculum design and development.

Links and some resources are provided for consideration when advocating and creating connections between the program or discipline/subject area, the wider College, stakeholders, and the broader community.  Feel free to examine the Business Intelligence and Research Services website for additional information.
