The Student Experience Team hosts transition events such as Welcome Days and New Student Orientation to help new students start their Fleming journey off on the right foot. Peer Mentorship at Fleming College involves Fleming student volunteers (mentors) who offer new students (mentees) support and guidance designed to cultivate their personal and academic success.

Fleming College promotes an inclusive environment where the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Two-Spirit, Queer, Questioning, and more community (often represented by the acronym LGBTQ+) can feel safe from harassment and discrimination.

The Fleming Co-Curricular Record (CCR) captures your out of classroom learning experiences and provides an opportunity for you to develop your skills and experience. Resources for students and staff.

Attending your academic orientation day is the best way to meet your coordinators, understand your responsibilities and course expectations and connect with other new students who are enrolled in your same program. There are many volunteer opportunities for current students during orientation programming.
