Unplanned Outage: Frost Main Line (705) 324-9144

When?

Thursday, December 18, 2025.

Why?

A localized Bell circuit outage.

What’s the impact?

  • Incoming calls to the Frost main line (705) 324-9144 will be unsuccessful.
    • As a temporary workaround, incoming callers can instead dial (705) 749-5530 to reach the College’s main auto-attendant.
  • If you require emergency assistance:
    • To contact Emergency Services,
      • use a personal mobile phone to dial 911
    • To contact Campus Security,
      • use a mobile phone by dialing

        705-749-5530 ext. 4444

      • If safe to do so, notify Campus Security in person (202F)

Scheduled Maintenance: Fleming College Website, myCampus & Data Mart | Fri Dec 19 @ 9:00 pm to Sat Dec 20 @ 9:00 am

When?

From Friday, December 19 at 9:00 pm until Saturday, December 20 at 9:00 am.

Why?

To perform maintenance activities on the College systems named above.

What’s the impact?

The systems named above will be offline for the duration of the maintenance window.

The main Fleming College website (flemingcollege.ca) will be fully inaccessible for the first hour, then display an “undergoing scheduled maintenance” service notice the duration of the maintenance window.

Scheduled Maintenance: MyWorkDrive | Wednesday, December 17, 2025 from 9:00 pm to 11:00 pm

When?

Wednesday, December 17, 2025 from 9:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

Why?

To perform maintenance activities.

What’s the impact?

During the maintenance window, access to H: (home) and S: (shared) drives using the MyWorkDrive website will not be available. 

Direct access to S: and H: drives will still be available using the virtual desktop (VDI) service or on campus desktop computers.

Scheduled Maintenance: OneCard | Monday, December 15, 2025 from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm

When?

Monday, December 15, 2025 from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

Why?

To perform maintenance activities on the College’s OneCard systems.

What’s the impact?

All OneCard services and purchase transactions will be unavailable during this planned outage.

OneCards will continue to function normally for room and door access.

Scheduled Maintenance: OneCard | Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am

When?

Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am.

Why?

To perform maintenance activities on the College’s OneCard systems.

What’s the impact?

All OneCard services and purchase transactions will be unavailable during this planned outage.

OneCards will continue to function normally for room and door access.

Scheduled Maintenance — Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Service 2025-04-12, 7:00 to 10:00 PM

When?

Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

Why?

To perform software updates and system maintenance activities.

What’s the impact?

During the maintenance window above, the VDI service will be unavailable.

Users will still be able to remotely access files residing on their Home (H:\) and Shared (S:\) network drives using the MyWorkDrive service.

Information Update CIRA DNS Firewall

When?

Thursday November 27, 2025 to Friday December 5, 2025

Why?

We are upgrading the CIRA DNS to improve security and reliability.

What’s the impact?

During this process, you may notice an automatic uninstall and reinstall of the CIRA DNS application on your device.

To ensure the upgrade completes successfully:
  • Leave your device powered on and connected to the Internet over the next week.
  • No manual action is required.
  • Note: there is the potential for a brief loss of DNS & Internet access during this upgrade process.

Service Degradation- In-person IT Service Desk Support

When?

Beginning on September 11, 2025, and for the duration of the strike.

Why?

What’s the impact?

In-person IT Service Desk support will be paused for the duration of the strike. This includes:

Phone and web access to IT support remains available 24/7 by using the College’s TDX Service Portal or calling 1 (866) 353-6464 x4111.

Information Update: End of LinkedIn Learning Access

When?

Access to the College’s LinkedIn Learning subscription will end on Sunday, September 21, 2025.

Why?

Due to the conclusion of our current enterprise licensing agreement.

What’s the impact?

The end of Fleming’s LinkedIn Learning access will impact anyone currently using the platform for skills development.

To ensure you retain the value of your learning, please take action as follows:

  • Complete any in-progress courses
  • Download course completion certificates
  • Save personal notes and learning materials
  • Bookmark key external resources for future reference
