The spring COVID-19 vaccine season for all eligible individuals ended on June 30th, 2025. Updated COVID-19 vaccines for eligible individuals 6 months and older will be available in October 2025.
COVID vaccinations are TEMPORARILY optional on Synergy for students in programs requiring COVID vaccinations.
If you currently meet the COVID vaccination requirement for your program:
- Please ensure that proof is uploaded to Synergy
If you DO NOT currently meet the COVID vaccination requirement for your program:
- Please upload any proof of COVID vaccination that you have (even if it is from outside of Canada, or if the vaccines are not approved in Canada)
- Watch for COVID vaccinations to become available in local pharmacies in October
- When you are able to, please get a vaccine
- One dose of the new vaccine will meet the two-dose requirement
- Once you have received the new vaccine, please upload proof to Synergy
Once the COVID vaccination is available, emails will be sent out to students in programs requiring the COVID vaccine who do not meet the requirement to remind them to get the vaccine. A deadline to provide proof of vaccination will be provided in email communications in the fall semester.
