We are pleased to provide the following update on FSS project activities and status at Sutherland, Frost and Haliburton Campuses. Sutherland Campus

Pharmacy Lab

Pharmacy Lab has been moved to a more central location and updated and will be completed by end Sept 2023

Executive Suite

Executive Suite renovation is underway and will be updated and completed by Jan 2024

Repairs have been done to D Wing sliding door and main entrance sliding door parts are on order

All Campuses Our FSS managers and staff have been working diligently to insure your safety when the opportunity to return to physical school arises. We have been updating door openers to be fully automatic, washrooms to have no touch facilities, hand sanitizing stations throughout the campuses, PPE where needed, motion sensor lighting and signage to direct foot traffic to properly navigate the school.  We look forward to having all students return to the school. Until such time, stay connected and stay safe.

With consideration of your personal safety; please note:

  • We ask you to observe and respect all posted safety signage.
  • Construction sites are not to be entered under any circumstance without prior authorization from the PRD Project Team.
  • Always be aware of your surroundings and exercise caution when you are in any area near construction.
  • Please report any concerns immediately.

Facilities will implement best practices and make every reasonable effort to ensure personal safety while construction is in progress, and we seek your support in this process. In the interest of your personal safety, please note: While construction is in progress, the contractor controls the site, despite the fact that the College owns it Construction sites are not to be entered under any circumstance without prior authorization from the Project Team All visitors on site must be approved by the Site Supervisor, and undergo contractor’s safety training Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn when invited onto a site Contractor’s policies and regulations must be abided by while on the site Always exercise caution when in the area and observe posted signage for your safety Please report any concerns immediately Service Interruptions In order to provide the best student experience possible, Facilities will make every effort to schedule service interruptions off hours and keep on hours interruptions to a minimum. Occasionally, however, impacts to normal day to day business activities will be unavoidable. These impacts may consist of: General construction activity noise, odours, dust etc. Power or water service interruptions Traffic, parking, pedestrian walkway interruptions or delays Washroom closures We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding while these activities are in progress.
