To upgrade PeopleTools from 8.58 to 8.60.
The Evolve production system will be offline during the specified maintenance window. During this time, the Evolve Fleming Portal (FP), Campus Solution (CS), Finance, and Human Capital Management (HCM) systems will be unavailable.
Note: The maintenance will not affect myCampus, D2L, Office365 (email, OneDrive, MS Teams), or other IT services.

An issue with the college’s upstream Internet provider was impacting Fleming’s Internet access and access to other resources.
Our provider has identified and addressed the issue, which has restored stable access to and from Fleming resources.

The ITS department is currently investigating the issue. Further updates will be provided as available.
Devices on the college’s wired and wireless networks are unable to access the Internet or some internal network resources.

An internal security certificate that provides secure connections to Fleming’s on-campus wireless (Wi-Fi) services needs to be renewed annually.
After the renewal date above, the next time you connect to Fleming’s wireless services, you may be asked to confirm your device’s connection information.
Some devices may also prompt you to accept or trust the new certificate. If this is the case, it is safe to accept and trust the new certificate. More information about this prompt or trouble-shooting wireless connection issue can be found here: Article – Help Connecting to Fleming Wi-Fi
Discontinuation starts February 3, 2025
Adobe is discontinuing Creative Cloud Synced files for business plans, including Creative Cloud for Teams and Creative Cloud for Enterprise. This change, initially set for October 1, 2024, has been extended to February 3, 2025.
If you use Adobe Creative Cloud Sync, the discontinuation of Creative Cloud Synced files will impact your files in the following ways:
Local Files: Files saved in your local Creative Cloud Files folder will no longer sync to Adobe’s cloud storage after February 3, 2025.

C:\Users\<Username>\Creative Cloud Files
macOS
Mac HD/Users/<Username>/Creative Cloud Files
Cloud Access: You won’t be able to access or share files through the Creative Cloud website’s Synced files tab
File Sharing: The ability to share folders and files with other Creative Cloud users will be removed.
To avoid losing access to your files, you should:
Download and back up any important files from the Creative Cloud Files folder to another storage location.

A power outage in Lindsay impacted the entire Frost Campus. Additionally, the failure of redundant backup power to the Frost data centre resulted in both the Frost and Haliburton campus networks being offline for the duration of the power outage.
Network and internet access at the Frost & Haliburton campuses has now been restored.

During the maintenance window above, the Human Capital Management (HCM) portion of the Evolve system will be unavailable.
Tuesday, December 3, 2024 from 10:00 PM to 11:59 PM.
Urgent maintenance to how the college’s phone system connects to the public telephone network.
Inbound/outbound calls to Peterborough will be unavailable during this time. E911 will also be unavailable during this outage.
Wednesday, November 27, 2024, from 10am – 1pm
ITS will be conducting network infrastructure upgrades to wired and wireless networks during the above maintenance window.
Internet access will be unavailable during outage periods.
Staff will be upgrading the wired network first, followed by the wireless network. Outages are expected to be less than 2 hours, however can be up to the entirety of the maintenance window. Internet access will be available in Building 5 or 6 Study Room or on Campus.
