Mending: Male Allyship

MENding: A leadership program for male-identifying students addressing gender-based violence

In partnership with Kawartha Sexual Assault Centre

MENding engages men in ending gender-based violence by creating safe and non-judgmental settings for men to discuss the issues. The program approaches ideas of gender expression and how violence factors into how society constructs masculinity – then attempts to break down those rigid ideas.

A leadership initiative of Diversity & Inclusion Services, men who participate in the training are invited to promote education on campus and in the community while also building transferable skills.

Next series: Mondays 6 to 9 pm starting Oct. 30, 2023
