Good Food Box Program, Frost SA

Save Money – Buy a food box from the Student Association! The Good Food Box program is a community-based initiative run by Community Care City of Kawartha Lakes whose mission is to improve access to affordable and healthy food.  The program is available to any resident of the City of Kawartha Lakes (yes, that includes students), and is only $15.00 per month.  Place your order on the first Tuesday of the month and pick up on the third Tuesday of the month. Students can participate by prepaying in the Student Association office by the first Tuesday of every month. Good food boxes are delivered to the Student Association on the third Tuesday of every month – participating students will be notified by e-mail.
Sign-up is located in the Frost SA office (above the Auk’s Lodge).

Fleming College Email

Students should know and check their email multiple times a day.  If you do not check your email you will not get information about some of the following:

  • Health Insurance
  • Scholarships
  • Tuition Due Dates
  • Class Cancellations
  • Social Events
    And much more

It is your responsibility to check your email, and read all messages carefully.  Your email will be the main method that the college uses to communicate with you.

Student Mail Received by International Student Services

This is a reminder that International Student Services, Fleming College, cannot be used as a mailing address for students.  All students are expected to provide their personal mailing address to all organizations/people that send you mail, including: Banks, IRCC, Service Canada and family members.

Students who live in On Campus Residence should provide mailers with their residence address.  If you aren’t sure what the address is please visit the On-Campus  Residence Office.

Students who are concerned about the safety of their email are directed to look into renting a Post Office box through Canada Post.  A post office box is safer than having email sent to Fleming College where it may be directed to the wrong campus, department, etc.  By providing your personal mailing address, students who may be moving will be able to have their mailed forwarded to their new address through Canada Post.

Any mail addressed to students that is received by Fleming College will be returned to the sender.
