Fleming’s 2019-2024 Academic Plan includes the goal of revitalizing and engaging faculty for a modern education.” Fleming is committed to ensuring faculty and staff have the resources they need so they are empowered, and students feel supported. The Learning Design and Support Team (LDST) is here to support you as you develop in your roles and responsibilities as faculty.  This support happens by connecting to our professional community, resources, and services and encouraging continuous learning and development.

Teaching and Learning Days 

These days have a theme related to the current state of the academic division at Fleming and the needs of faculty. Teaching and Learning Days focus on building community between individuals and departments and they support initiatives related to the Strategic and Academic Plans. We encourage you to take part!

Teaching and Learning Days occur each academic semester, typically during week 0 and week 8. Watch your email for the most current dates.

Drop-In Help is Available

New and returning faculty are invited to drop in to get your questions answered and meet colleagues who can help with D2L, teaching & learning, assessment, accessible learning materials, library services, etc.  Here you can find our Drop-in schedule for the LDS Team. We are available to support you – drop in or reach out to us when you need it!
