There are many ways to incorporate technology into your course to boost engagement. Fleming College has licensing for a variety of options, which you can view in the ITS Software Catalog.

Some options to consider include

• H5P (through eCampusOntario) – can be used to create content and questions that can be used in D2L.  
• Microsoft Forms – Faculty members can create surveys, quizzes, forms, or sign-up sheets for students to complete for a variety of purposes.
• Shared documents (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) in Office 365 can be used for student group work, in-class activities (in person and/or in Webex or Teams breakout rooms), etc.
• Slido – Faculty members can use Slido, which is built into WebEx and can be added into PowerPoint using an extension, to engage students through questions, quizzes, polls, etc.
• Webex – Faculty members can use the Webex chat tool, breakout rooms, reactions, etc. to engage students
