As you start this exciting journey, we’ve got a series of super helpful online sessions to help you settle in smoothly. Our virtual Pre-Arrival Information Series ‘ Connect and Get Ready’ will run from July 31 to August 15, 2024.

PLEASE NOTE: All sessions will be held at 9:00 AM (EST – Eastern Standard Time).

  • Banking in Canada by CIBC (Thursday, August 8) – RECORDING

  • Counselling & Accessible Education Services (Tuesday, August 13) – RECORDING

  • Health Insurance & Health Services (Thursday, August 15) – RECORDING

We encourage you to attend, so you feel ready and confident when you arrive. By attending each live session, you will have the opportunity to ask questions about each topic.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS OF THE SCHOOL OF HEALTH & COMMUNITY SERVICES

NON-ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS (NARS)

Students registered with the School of Health and Community Services are required to submit Non-Academic Requirements (NARs) to participate in placement. These can include vaccinations, police checks, co-op work permits etc.

It is important to meet the NARS deadlines in order to proceed to placement.

If you are in one of the programs listed on the NARS website we strongly encourage you to attend the virtual information session on August 14, 2024 (9 am EST). The session will provide information and tips to ensure you meet the NARS deadlines for your program.
