Starting this fall, the Library is launching a series of voluntary workshops for students on a variety of key topics, such as: database searching, evaluating sources, ePortfolios, avoiding plagiarism, and more. Students may register for as many as they like; anyone completing 5 workshops will earn the Information Literacy Certificate, which is CCR eligible. We hope you will consider recommending these workshops to your students. Click here for more information on the workshops and about information literacy in higher education.

The Library offers a wide variety of workshops and presentations on topics research to research, information/digital literacy, citations and academic integrity, and much more. Now is the time to reserve your preferred timeslot. With this popular service, Library staff will provide a Library Skills / Information Literacy workshop for your students during class time. Click here to view our topic menu and book your workshop.
All menu options can be customized to course or assignment.
A new WSIB Letter to Employers is available. Please download it and include them in your Placement packages. This new WSIB Letter replaces the previous one.
This semester, The Learning Design & Support Team is launching The Teaching Hub where we will collect & share weekly stories, ideas, tips, guides & more about being a faculty member at Fleming College. It is not just a post on a web page, however. It is our community for Teaching & Learning in which we can all share & grow.
Please check it out and get involved! Click the link below:

Please be advised that the college has a new Whistleblower Policy, which was approved by our Board of Governors in June. The policy has been put in place to ensure College operations are conducted ethically and with integrity. It encourages members of the College community to report improper activity and wrongdoing without fear of retaliation or reprisal.
You are invited to view the policy here:

The Absences and Retroactive Accommodations memorandum provides information on the the recently approved Class Absence Operating Procedure, and the process designed to address the College’s requirement to comply with the Ontario Human Rights Commission’s ruling regarding “Medical Documentation Guidelines and Accommodation” which includes retroactive accommodations.
