A Letter of Accommodation (LOA) is your individualized summary of the academic accommodations and services you and your counsellor agree are right for you. The two of you make the decision as to which accommodations and services you will use based on your individual learning needs, the demands of your courses, the accommodations that have worked for you in the past and your documentation.
After you and your counsellor agree on the accommodations and services for you, the counsellor will create your LOA. The first copy is for you to keep. Your counsellor will set it up so your LOA gets emailed to all of you teachers.
