Our Commitment

Fleming College is deeply committed to creating an equitable, diverse, inclusive college where everyone belongs.

Our Mandate

As a college, we acknowledge the patterns of historical exclusion and the legacies it has produced. Our mandate is to challenge societal inequality by addressing systemic discrimination within our institution by examining and redesigning the infrastructure, policies, and practices that have left many behind. Through research, behaviour change, modifications of social standards, systemic disruption, policy change, education and training to achieve a cultural climate of inclusion and belonging.

Our Path

To achieve our mandate and fulfill our commitment, we are redeveloping our vision of the community we need and want for students, employees, faculty and staff.
