College Full-Time Support Staff Are on Strike – All campuses remain open.

College Full-Time Support Staff are on strike as of 12:01 a.m. Thursday, September 11, 2025.

Picket lines will be up at the Sutherland, Frost and Haliburton Campuses.

You can expect delays at the entrances to campus, please plan extra time to get to campus.

• Be polite and remain calm.
• Picketers may offer you some literature.
• Always act in a safe, respectful and responsible manner

STRIKE DATE SET FOR Thursday, September 11, 2025

The current full-time support staff collective agreement expired on August 31, 2025. Negotiations between the union (OPSEU) and the colleges (College Employer Council) are continuing today.

The College remains hopeful that the parties can reach a negotiated settlement before the strike deadline of 12:01 am Thursday, September 11, 2025.
